“[Tunzaa is] 100% built in Tanzania by Tanzanians,” says Ng’winula. It is an easy and convenient way for the average Tanzanian to buy products and services they’re interested in without the pinch of a huge payment all at once. Tunzaa will do its best to reach you wherever you are in Tanzania — delivering products and making customers happy not just in Dar es Salaam, but also reaching people in Mwanza, Dodoma, Tanga and Kahama, among other places. The instalments paid by the customers to Tunzaa are paid directly to the sellers of the items they’re interested in buying. Once payments are complete, delivery is arranged to ensure the customer gets what they paid for in a timely manner.
